Our Charity Partners

The NZRU and the All Blacks are proud to support the KidsCan Charitable Trust and Plunket, two New Zealand-based charities that are focused on providing support and assistance to Kiwi children and families.

Since those relationships began in 2008, the NZRU and the All Blacks have partnered with both charities for a series of events and programmes designed to build awareness and generate much-needed funds for these two vitally important charities.

NZRU Charity RFP

The NZRU is committed to making a difference to the lives of New Zealand children and young adults.  Since 2005, we have partnered with three official charities - Save the Children 2005-2008, and KidsCan and Plunket 2008–2012 - to make a real and tangible contribution to New Zealand.

The NZRU invited Charitable Organisations to submit a proposal for appointment as an Official Charity of the New Zealand Rugby Union and the All Blacks from 1 April 2012.

Proposals were due on Wednesday 30 November.
