Steve Tew – Chief Executive Officer
Steve Tew joined New Zealand Rugby in 2001. He has a strong rugby and sports background and also has a Masters degree in Recreation Administration (Sports Management).

Prior to joining New Zealand Rugby, Steve was Chief Executive Officer of the Canterbury Rugby Union and the Crusaders Franchise. He became Chief Executive on 1 January 2008.

Brent Anderson – General Manager Community and Provincial Union Rugby
Brent "Buck" Anderson joined New Zealand Rugby in 2001 and has held a variety of roles concerned with growing and supporting rugby in New Zealand's schools and clubs. Previously, he worked in education as a secondary school teacher. With a strong rugby background, Anderson played at all levels of the game, earning All Blacks selection in 1986–87, and has since maintained a close involvement in the game through coaching, administration and television media roles.

Nick Brown – General Manager Content, Commercial and Public Affairs
Nick Brown leads New Zealand Rugby's Content, Commercial and Public Affairs portfolios. Prior to joining New Zealand Rugby in 2010, Nick held a range of senior roles in the Public Affairs and Commercial areas, including Head of Communications and Brand at Alcatel-Lucent NZ and Head of PR and Sponsorship at Telecom New Zealand as well as a range of other communications roles. Nick is based in New Zealand Rugby’s Auckland office.

Nigel Cass – General Manager Relationships, Planning and Operations
Nigel Cass has been involved with rugby for a significant period, first as a senior staff member of New Zealand Rugby from 2001 to 2007 - including the chairmanship of the Wellington International Sevens - and then as General Manager Tournament Services for Rugby New Zealand 2011 until early 2012. He previously worked at the Hilary Commission with responsibility for Local Government Liaison and Active Living and managed the development and roll out of the “Push Play” campaign. Nigel rejoined New Zealand Rugby in the new position of General Manager Strategic Relationships and Planning in May 2012.

Jannine Mountford - Chief Financial Officer
Jannine Mountford, an experienced senior executive and chartered accountant, joined New Zealand Rugby in January 2013 following a number of years as Commercial Manager of Fletcher Builng Roof Tile Group. Jannine has extensive expeience in leading financial, IT and governance functions of growing global businesses. In 2012 she completed a year-long Global Women in Leadership programme. Jannine is a councillor of the newly merged Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Darren Shand – All Blacks Manager
Darren Shand took on the role of All Blacks Manager in 2004 after four years with the Crusaders, during which time the team made every Super 12 final and won the competition twice. He served as manager of the Canterbury Air New Zealand NPC side from 1999 and also managed New Zealand A during their tour of France, Wales and Romania in 2000. He previously served as Marketing Manager with tourism pioneers AJ Hackett Bungy.

Neil Sorensen – General Manager Rugby
Neil Sorensen joined New Zealand Rugby in August 2001 as Rugby Operations Manager, in October 2006 took on the senior role of General Manager Professional Rugby and in early 2014 assumed the role of GM Rugby working across both the Community and Professional arms of the game. Neil previously held various management roles in rugby administration, sports betting and the brewery industry. A former first-class halfback, Neil earned more than 100 caps for Wellington, captained the New Zealand Juniors and was an All Blacks trialist in 1984 and 1986.
