The NZRU is governed by the goals and rules set out in its Constitution.
As an incorporated society, the NZRU is legally required to have a Constitution or similar governing document.
The NZRU's Constitution includes rules governing:
NZRU members and affiliated organisations
Board Members, Officers and Life Members
powers and processes of the NZRU Board
annual reporting and accounts
the regulations of rugby
The Constitution was amended in June 2012.
